    Cup feeding suggestions please

how big is the enclosure? I agree with fasted, i built one of those, but on a smaller scale for when i had my cham. She was about 2.5-3 months when she started cup feeding. But eventually all i did was hold a cup for her to eat out of because i was too lazy to keep taking out the cup and...

    Plant question

It would be better if you put a real ficus in there. Sometimes Chameleons like to nibble on leaves, so eating some silk leaves isnt really good for them aha. Live plants also help keep the humidity up in the cage so its an added bonus. You can get ficus trees at home depot for a decent price...

    new panther hissing and bites

when i had my cham what i did to get my cham to come on my hand readily was to have a treat/food that they can see. It will take some patience though, cause they usually try to find another way other than your hand :P but food is probably the fastest way.

    Never see her drink?

Just keep checking her poop, if it gets more orange then you know that she isnt drinking enough. If she isnt drinking then you may have to give her a shower

    2 adult female leopard geckos

Hey guys i have 2 adult female leopard geckos available, $30 OBO they were used in a university experiment so they have part of their tails cut off but other than that they are in perfect health. Ive been feeding them gutloaded cockroaches, crickets and mealworms. They come with a heat lamp...

How big do veiled chameleons grow ?

It could just be the fact that they are being kept in cages for their entire lives from birth. Its like that with sharks, they will grow to fit the size of their environment/aquarium. So this might be the same case, since theres so much more room available to WC chameleons they are able to...

    Nosy Faly at Petland

Ive seen one here in ontario, it was an adult female panther, in what looked like a 12"X12"X12" cage maybe a little taller than 12" they had a water feature in the cage with fish in it, which took up about 2-3" of the cage space. she had one of her eyes closed and wouldnt open it, and it also...

How many silkworms and how fast do they grow?

i think it all depends on how much food is available, the more food they get the faster they will grow, so i wouldnt get TOO many silkies. 200 is high so go with what carol and lil nasty said and get 50 and if your cham gobbles them up then you can get a bigger order next time

    some info concerning shedding

My cham has eaten a bit of one shed, but hasnt touched it other times, i think every cham is different. I agree with jann on her suggestion of giving extra long mistings, and even add an extra misting in there to boost up the humidity to keep the skin moist and easier to break off

    letting them 'out'

let the exploration begin! i just moved my nosy be into her adult cage and shes climbing EVERYWHERE. When i had her in her smaller cage i opened up the cage door as i was about to feed her so while getting the crickets into the cup, what does she decide to do? she starts climbing out of the...

    Eating her shedding

Ive seen my cham eat a bit of her shed not everything, my geckos however eat everything haha no cleanup :D I think it may be a way to get back some calcium or something, I kind of vaguely remember reading that somewhere, probably in other posts, but not 100%
