Money tree?

I am not sure, I have checked 3 safe plant list and it isn't on any of them. I also looked up the care for it. They say it should be planted like a catcus with perlite added to the soil. If you use it make sure your cham can not get to any perlite.

What type of cham do you have? That could make a difference.

Im getting a panther chameleon in the next few weeks and saw a really nice money tree at lowes..

I was gonna plant it and cover the soil in river rocks.

Thanks :)

Anybody know for sure!?

I kept one in with my cham, didnt affect her at all. But just keep an eye out just in case you cham starts nibbling on the leaves, mine didnt so it was fine.

That is why I ask what kind of cham. Veiled are known for eating plants. I would not test it with a veilded, not worth the chance.

So, I just got to hope he doesn't eat it! Sounds alright to me :) it's a nice tall plant, the scheffleras they had are way too short!

Thanks guys!

I asked about Money Trees when I first started looking and was told they could be toxic, I love the braided branches and leafy top I was super bummed when I found out I couldn't use it.

I bought myself a Bonsai Money Tree for my desk instead. :D

I have money tree in my free range area and have seen my veiled eat it before and he did not show any ill effects

I have several but have been apprehensive to let any of my Chameleons on the Money trees. I have always played it safe when it comes to them... but now I may consider.
