I was thinking today how Madagascars people slash and burn to create farms. Why don't they do somthing more profitable with there extraordinarily unique land than farm it . When it comes to farming other country's have them beat . Instead of collecting all of these chams seasonally do you think...
I used to have african cichlids I loved them but seince fish cost so much more than herps to maintain I had to tear down there tank I still have some of my cichlids in my reeves turtles tank but only about 7 of em. Before I used to have 60 there an amazing and easy to care for show fish and when...
I didn't know that I had read a fairly recent report that said otherwise but if you were there I trust your word. Plus the reptile industry has been collecting the hell out of the jacksons in hawii the past few years so I can see how a population decline could be possible.
We can ***** all we want but nothing is gonna get better until the native people realize what a paradise they live in and that the fauna there country holds is some of the most unique and prized in the world. Instead of making a bunch of farms why don't they devote certain parts of the country...
Not that I'm saying we should put a bunch of chameleons in South America but how do you think chams would do in the South American rain forest.
If all of the chameleons natural habitat is slashed and burned someday And South America is still left do you think that it would make a good place...
Well they are just an extreme nusicanse I believe kinda like pigeons in a city to many of em and always in your way. And just like pigeons there foreign pest there not supposed to b there
I have fed my chams small grapes (so they don't choke ) and bearded dragon jello food , plus i have fed cabbage white butterfly's and roaches .
It's really fun watching them catch the cabbage whites
Think of things you can feed your chameleon besides the average feeders. Keep in mind some wild bugs could have pesticides on them and could be detremental to the health of your lizard.
I know there are alot of jacksons chameleons plaguing the Hawaiian islands ,I'm not completely sure but from what I hear the jacksons population back in Africa isn't doing so hot. Do you think that if a population problem should arise in Africa that we could overcollect jacksons in hawii and...
Petco should really have classes or something to inform there employees about how to care for these animals then there wouldn't b as many death tolls and petco would save itself money .
You just have to b brave my veil hisses at me when he's in his territory his cage because he's defending it and he's probably scared but when I get him out he turns into the sweetest lizard ever sometimes what works to get him out is to put a stick behind him and a stick in front of him nudge...
Wow that sucks the petsmarts around me are all great and the employees know a little bit but are kind and open to suggestion and they all have properly stocked shelfs the petcos are a differnt story though once at petco I saw 7 veil chams in the same cage one was a full grown adult and all the...
