    Eating while shedding?

Does your cham eat while they are shedding? Mine hasn't and I'm worried. Is this normal?

    How to tell age?

Does anyone know how to estimate the age of a Jackson Chameleon? I wasn't given Spike's age when I got him. He's about 6 inches long from nose to base of tail, and probably close to 9 - 10 inches counting his tail.

    Activity level?

Cool... thanks for the response! My jackson has been very mellow the last few days but he's getting over a parasite and an infection. He just pooped (as you can see in my other post lol) and has already become more active. Interesting that the different types vary greatly in the activity...

    What is this!?

Spike just pooped for the first time since the vet fiasco. But um... he seemed to be straining quite a bit and then THIS happened: WHAT IS THAT!? Does he have hemorrhoids?? I thought he was pooing out his intestines or something. It went back in though... and here's a pic of the poo: He...

    This is Spike

The vet did give me a good prognosis, but he said of course no guarantees. Spike has been very calm and not moving too much the last couple days. He will eat and drink though when I hold food and water up for him. I feel awful when I have to give him his injections... like all the trust...

    This is Spike

I'm wondering how he looks to you guys? I have had him about 10 days now and have already taken him to the vet. He's got an infection and a parasite that we are treating. I found this out because I found him at the bottom of his enclosure two days ago barely moving. He wasn't able to focus well...

    Where do you

Haha! Yeah, my husband is not so crazy about my chameleon obsession. He hates the crickets so much. I can't even feed my frogs and cham when he's home. Such a baby!! lol

    Where do you

buy roaches for your chameleons? I don't want to raise my own (my husband would frown upon that, sadly) but I would like to get some babies for Spike to try. He is not enjoying crickets. I have ordered some phoenix worms, has anyone tried those? Thanks for any advice or links!! -Erika
