Always tough to show their size when photographing them using macro lenses, I have most of the species I have found on my hand/finger so that helps. Thanks for looking!
Now it's been a good few years since I've made the journey some 180kms from where I stay to find and photograph these small forest dwelling chameleons.

A few weeks ago I headed into the Western Cape Winelands to photograph a few localised Bradypodion.
The area called Robertson is mainly Grape Vineyards and the town is known for the quality wine and fruit it produces.
First target was Bradypodion gutturale - Little Karoo Dwarf Chameleon...
The male specimens are the only ones with a touch of colour on the tubercles. When displaying we observed them going as dark as the females the green colours becoming rather muted.
Thanks Chris, I had hoped you guys wouldn't mind the onslaught of photos. Not a very flashy species but nice to see a range of the males, females and juveniles. Remarkably similar to melanocephalum in the hand.
So it's not a "new" species, in fact was originally described by Hewitt in 1935.
When it comes to information online for this species it's virtually non-existent.
