Unfortunately I think it would be problematic if I just used all large species in the cage. I know the risks but I decided it was worth taking. In my experience when and orchid wants to bloom it'll find a way. Many I have bloomed and accidentally broken spikes have just grown a new one.

I'm not sure if you can't tell because of the picture but the wood goes out in the cage in all directions. There is not a part of the cage he can't get to easily. And orchids grow in tree where they originate.

If you want him to begin to trust you so you can handle him you should hand feed its done wonders for my nosy be. My boys love me now they get excited to see you. Of course make sure he has had ample time to settle into his cage

I have lighting picked out that will work perfect for the orchids...my main concern is I would like to mount some without moss onto some branches I will be using and I want to use the best safest item for the job.
