    Repashy Calcium plus tongue issues

Anyone having article: Cole,G.A.; Rao,D.B.; Steinberg,H.; Sladky,K.K., 2008: Suspected vitamin E and selenium deficiency in a veiled chameleon, Chamaeleo calyptratus. Journal Of Herpetological Medicine And Surgery: 3 4, 113-116 ? Reading more about vit E and Selenium deficiency it sounds just...

    Repashy Calcium plus tongue issues

I will do that..good idea. I was reading Reptile medicine and surgery (Mader) and found out that calcium deficiency which is common issue with tongue projecting correctly could be result of Vit A/D3 imbalance. Mader also states that chameleons are not able to convert proformed vit A to...

    Repashy Calcium plus tongue issues

Well per ingredient list Vitamin A doubled repashy cal plus - 200,000 IU/lb and Reptivite - 100,000 I.U./lb. Vitamin D3 doubled also 20,000 IU/lb vs 10,390 IU/lb. Big question is if tongue issue is due to hypervitaminosis or they have hypovitaminosis of something and if so of what. I stopped...

Hi guys, I keep and breed chameleons for 10 Years now but have issues I need your advise on. Till now I have been using Reptivite and plain calcium but I bought 3 months ago Repashy Calcium plus and supervit at Hamm and have been using it in combination with plain calcium. I used 3x per week...

    Ankaramy color development pics please

Thank you for your opinions. I posted this pictures because I really had bad feeling about him being ankaramy. I contacted the breeder but he still thinks he will color up and is sure he is ankaramy. This is F1 generation so maybe female wasn't ankaramy and I have a cross. But I think maybe one...

    Ankaramy color development pics please

Thank you for reply. I still hope you are wrong. I checked a lot of pictures of ankaramy pinks and all have more or less visible stripes like mine does. I heard they need a lot of time to gain pink and get those stripes less visible but there are exceptions..like yours..

    Ankaramy color development pics please

Hi everyone, I would like to see your ankaramy color pattern change from semi-adult to adult state. Here is mine still young (4 months) and to be honest when he started to color up at first I thought I bought Ambilobe :-) If you have pictures how they color progress it would be interesting to...

    Ambanja Love!

Don't get me wrong :) I didn't mean that he is not nice, in fact he has gorgeous head coloration. What I meant is that he doesn't look like Ambanja to me but he is not so fired up Ambilobe ether. Maybe I am wrong and you really have Ambanja male.... anyway.. peace :)

    Furcifer Verrucosus - Warty Chameleon

Verru are very variable in color. You can find brown to grey individuals and stunning green ones. My friend in Czech Republic has best male I ever seen. You can see his pics taken by me on one visit in my new gallery I am building http://www.chamaeleoinfoweb.com/?page=galeria&action=48

    MBD picture...

True but my best guess is an infection. Had the same thing happen to my lateralis male. On 2 feet at the same time. 3 weeks on Fortum and he was ok.

    MBD picture...

There is one more possibility and more likely she has an infection of her foot. This is not MBD and it could be gout but would affect more likely her joints not foot.

    Your pardalis egg incubation success

Hi, yes almost right. I have glass terarium and I have put soil directly in it so she is not stressed by transport to some container to dig. And it happened that she dug a hole right beside glass wall and layed her eggs there so I could watch everything like in TV :D Yes on that pic she is...

    Your pardalis egg incubation success

I have my female Tamatave covering her clutch right now and I am still looking for a best way to incubate the eggs. I want to ask pardalis breeders about their techniques and their slip rate. I read that keeping them cool at cca 18-20 C for 2-3 months and then raising temp to 26-27 C is the...
