* bump * What is a good weight for a veiled chameleon that is about 1 and a half years old?

I'm using a 75 watt basking bulb and a Zoo Med 5.0 ReptiSun. Temps at top at about 82 degrees and bottoms are 60-70 degrees.

So, I've had this setup for a while now and it's been kind of annoying me (LOL). I do see my veiled basking every now and then, but it's whenever I'm in my room. Most of the times I always find him hiding in the back vines of the plant. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

In my veiled's cage he has an enormous Pothos plant. When I do cup feeding I always put it on the floor but it doesn't seem like he can find it all the time. How should I compromise this? Thanks

To save money, are there any alternatives to UVB bulbs that are made specifically for reptiles that are cheaper? Like maybe ones for plants? Thanks :)

I understand that. He looks cute! Is that a water bowl? If so, he wont need it. Just mist his enclosure a couple times a day. Good luck! :)

I'm interested in getting something different from my veiled and panther, mainly smaller. So, the carpet chameleon came into my head. What is your opinion on them? Temperament? Thanks :)

It looks great! I would recommend trying to flip it vertically, though. :)
