    Minor injury

Today while my chameleon was out getting some sun, he got his stuck between two branches. When I got him out I noticed he had scraped some skin off of his veil. Not a big scratch at all. Is there anything I need to put on it or should I let it heal naturally?

    Not Eating

For the last several days my 1 year old male veiled chameleon hasn't been eating many crickets. I offer him 5-7 large crix everyday. I have been cup feeding him for the last 6 months and he seems to like it, so usually when I come home and things haven't changed I let them go in the cage to see...

    Enclosure Issues

I just have a few issues with my enclosure. I have had my almost 1 year old male veiled chameleon in this enclosure for about 3 months now. It is the XL ZooMed Reptibreeze (2x2x4 i believe). Lately my plant (schefflera arboricola) has been shedding a lot of leaves, and over the last couple of...

    OMG you wont believe!!

So just a few minutes ago I witnessed Donnie (my 7 month old veiled) down in his plant eating something. I thought it may be a leaf off the schefflera or may be a cricket...but no, he was eating his own poo!! WTF?! Has anyone else ever heard of or seen such a thing?

    Meet my veiled!

I did all the same things. I was on here day and night reading posts to make sure I was doing everything I could for my little guy. Any noise I didn't recognize I ran over to the cage to see what was going on. Now that I have one, I'm already looking to get my second chameleon. So beware...
