    AWOL Update with Pics!

All, I know I've been quiet on here for a while now, even though I still lurk. :) I wanted to give y'all picture updates on Paisley's growth. I reached out to you guys in both public threads and private messages asking for your suggestions in helping Paisley develop. He took a looong time to...

    He is dying.

Just read this whole thread. Just wanted to chime in and say that OP, you're doing amazing. You are being so mature and responsive. It's obvious how much you care for your cham. Thanks to all the veterans for helping her out. I hope things continue to improve. <3

    Chameleons at local reptile show.

I went to the Denver show on Sunday. I was really upset about all the poor chams. I kept thinking that $5 per photo definitely won't make up for such a pretty baby dropping dead from stress. Ah well, it was good to meet the Josh's Frogs people and 5280 Reptile Room totally dominated the sales...

    Total mummy in three hours

I love it when they pop their skin off like that. Sometimes I'll come home and there's just a bunch of skin on the bottom of the cage and Paisley looking more annoyed than normal. If it weren't for the screen at the bottom of my cage, I'd never catch him shedding. So fast!

    New boy:)

Ladybugs are not safe for chameleons. Definitely do *not* give him ladybugs.

    Changing Up Supplementation

Hello all, I'm curious about how (or if!) y'all transition from one supplement regime to another. I was finally able to pick up some different supplements but I am worried that if I transition Paisley incorrectly, he may suffer a vitamin overdose or a vitamin deficiency. Currently, I am using...

Plant Hanger Idea for Dragon Ledges

Wanted to share something I tried in a new enclosure: I just upgraded Paisley's cage to a Large Clearside Dragon Strand (which is fantastic, btw). While planning the layout of the new cage, I researched optioned for hanging/suspending plants and after becoming frustrated with the options I...

    US White's Tree Frog (CB)

Does anyone know of a good source or breeder for CB White's Tree Frogs? I specifically want a female, so I am loath to buy from Josh's Frogs (even though it was my first idea) as they are unsexed.. I'd prefer to buy within the US, if possible. Thank you!

    Normal?

Feeding - Crickets 10-15 a day split into morning and evening feedings, gut loaded with fresh carrots and cricket water, she also eats mustard greens 2 times a week. Typically, chams should be fed in the morning so they can bask all day to aid in digestion. At six months, you may want to look...

    Normal?

Would you please fill this form out and post the results? Maybe there's some other factor in husbandry that needs to be addressed: https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/

    Normal?

Looks like a bruise. How is her grip strength? Have to noticed that she's fallen recently?

    Buying Online VS In Person

I agree with ERKIeRose on this one. Additionally, depending on the age of the cham, they can be quite fragile. Anything below three months old and more reputable breeders won't adopt them out. There's a certain amount of risk in a super, super young cham.

    RO system?

I recently researched RO Systems and ended up with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00204CQF6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's pretty compact, setting it up was pretty simple, and I'm generally happy with it. However, make sure you check ALL of the fittings to...

    Paranoid re: Sex and Age

Thank you! I wanted to make sure that I had things right just in case he ended up being female after all. Glad I don't have to deal with getting a lay bin in there. :)
