She scattered them despite putting her in a lay box for the last few days. Got up this morning and she was starting to scatter them before I moved her to the bin.
They were collected pretty much as they were layed. Some are pretty shiny and somewhat sticky, I figured that's just because they were recently layed. She is a captive bred and like I said, this is her first clutch. I'm hoping the media isnt too wet. Not much water comes out when squeezed.
My carpet Chameleon just layed 9 eggs, some look better than others. Just wanted to see if anyone who has bred carpets before can let me know how they look/compare to ones that their females have layed. It is her first clutch.
Thanks for the reply. I placed her in the bin again this morning and she dug a bit of a hole for the first time. She ended up leaving that spot and seems to be starting another one. I'm not gonna even try to peek for the next few hours so I don't disturb her.
I have a pair of carpet chameleons and they locked up 20 days ago (Aug. 30). The female was 16.31 grams on sept.
6th, 17 grams on the 15th, and 16.81 grams today. I've haven't seen her eat the last two days and she'll usually eat out of my hand or tongs. I've put her in a warm lay bin the last...

Yes he was wild caught, only photo I have isnt too good but I'll post it anyway. The biggest bump was on his left eye and it was even larger by the time of his passing. It was approx. 4 days from the first bump until his passing. Also the white in the bump is a bit of stuck shed the other bumps...
I recently had a wild caught adult carpet pass away quite quickly after receiving him (3weeks). I noticed a few small bumps appear on his body and 5 days later he passed away. The last day or 2 of his life his eyes sunk in a bit despite eating and drinking and then on night he passed away. Care...
His eye looks normal otherwise, it's always open and functioning just like the other. He is wild caught and I've had him a few weeks now. He eats well, drinks well and moves around frequently. I will try to get more photos and post them.
It's somewhat difficult to see in the photos but my male carpet chameleon has some stuck shed on the top of his head and his eye. The eye is a bigger concern to me because it's somewhat raised and puffy. Anything I can do to help remove it? the skin on his head is pretty much 2 Layers now since...
