@opheliaeatsbugs, I bought him from a local breeder in October, breeder said he was 5 weeks old at the time so since it was getting cold here I just haven't had a chance to get him looked at due to the garbage weather here in Michigan! Hopefully your right and he's just being a moody teenager!
IMHO , I would get ledges for your current cage and use the foam on that so u have a solid idea on how to us the foam and a better idea of how u want your next build to go on an expensive cage like ds!!! I had 3 cage builds before I purchased a dragonstrand cage...and I agree with @OldChamKeeper...

It's a foam called "great stuff"! its made to seal up holes in ponds etc. u spray the foam where u want usually around potted plants and let dry. Dragonstrand.com has a tutorial on this check it out if your interested, it's under the advanced setup!
