thanks for the compliments people, this was just a test peice really tho, just practice before i start something more grand, this was my first ever painting on canvas, glad you liked it.:)
im back, this time its finished. taken its time because i've been working on commissions(nearly done!), so i've been doing it in every bit of spare time i had.

thanks, that would be very useful, i dont wanna use peoples photo's without permission if im planning to sell the drawings/paintings, so all pics will be useful to me, :)

i did a bit more of the painting last night, thought i'd share another pic, ill get some more done soon, starting on commissions today tho, they're my priority atm:), so i dunno when ill get it finished. pics are with and without flash.
i use a photograph to get the proportions, but my camera doesn't pick up his real colours, so i copy them from him, but this is just an underpainting so far, nothing like his real colours! done a bit more work to it a minute ago, ill do some more soon.:)

and pardalisgirl, i did some paintings back in college, just still life stuff,(that was nearly 3 years ago!) nothing like this tho, and this is my first painting on canvas ever, tis soo much nice to use the paper!

just did a coloured pencil drawing of a parsons, thought i'd share, i havent drawn for years, so i thought i'd start with something worth doing! :) any comments will be welcome.
he just hated the camera, hence only four pics came out! .lol didn't mind my hands tho, think ill practice on something less volatile before i attempt:) more pics!...lol
just found a macro setting on my dads camera, im no photographer, but i had a bit of fun!
p.s i couldn't find the manual focus button, so it was all automatic, ...hope you enjoy
