I have just lost my mail cham, for a long time his casque slowly got bigger, my vet originally tried to drain it but there was no fluid in it. I was told on the forum that they store fat in the casque, this helped because I was quite conserned. He died at 5.5 yrs with a very fat casque, my vet...
My recomendation is dust your crickets with Nutrabol and change your UV at least once a year, if pos every 6 months.. He's a very handsome young :rolleyes:man!
I would defenatly recommend a vet visit as chams dont heal like we do, if your cham has an open wound it could easily become infected. depending on the nature of the wound a special kind of glue can be used well i know this is the case after sergury anyway. You cant go wrong with a bigger cage...

I would recommend you give him some Critical Care powder mixed with water, give it to him in a syringe, this way he is getting lots of nurishment and getting hydrated at the same time, always worked really well for me... When he is hungy he will hopefully eat, if in dought though get him checked...

when I woke up saturday morning thankfull Houdini's eye looked so much better. still went to the vets, several possibles, we have some penecilin for now, see how that goes, faye:confused:
