Sorry. I meant too young for me to sex because the bulge gets bigger as they age. I don't really have the eye for sexing them yet. I haven't had to really concern myself with this yet as I only have had veileds.
Just a thought if you like black and white tattoos. It would be cool if everything was black and white except for the chameleon. It would make it stand out from the background and emphasize the chameleon while also making it have less area to fade like color does.

Yes, I am sure they shouldn't have it. Chameleons can see the light given off unlike some other reptiles. Therefore this messes up their ability to sleep. Just make sure that their cage is completely dark at night and that the lights are on a timer to go on and off at the same time every day...
Maybe just make sure you have a backup colony somewhere in case the population crashes but I would control the amount of leaf litter supplied to limit the growth of the population.
