Thank you. They really aren't that hard. you just have to do your research and give them what they need. I have never bloomed Dracula and Tolumnia. I found out that even cool growing Dracs will still bloom with 65 degree nights. The biggest thing to get them to bloom is keeping the humidity high...

That's a big misconception about getting them to bloom. True, some are more difficult than others. The big thing is a difference in temperature. That is what gets orchids to bloom. I had around 300 orchids that I grew indoors in my house. I grew the whole spectrum from warm growers to cool...

I still have a male left from my WC girl that passed. I sold 2 girls to Chuck G awhile ago and 2 females to chris Anderson. hopefully all the ladies are doing well. I love this species. They were fun to work with.

    Goodbye Charlie

Charlie was 4 years old. He was my first panther. He had been fighting some type of illness since 18 months. Near the last few months he would not eat or drink . We never found out what was wrong with him. Sadly I feel like I failed him. He was too young. I have 2 others that are 2 1/2 and 2...

    My other hobby

yeah florida is not the place for cool growers. If you have a basement that usually is good enough for the intermediates. I never got my draculas to bloom. I was going to set up fans to bring in cool air so I could get the air around the draculas down to 40. but sold the house instead...

    Furcifer campani

Charlie is there every show. He usually has panthers and jacksons but sometimes with have carpets and pygmy species. I saw the campani the last time he had a pair. They were in good shape. I may be tempted if he has them at the show in January.
