I am still looking for some Hornworms to start a population in the Netherlands / Europe.
Unfortunately, Hornworms are IMPOSSIBLE to find, nowhere in Europe.
I am looking for someone willing to ship some eggs and food to me.
Obviously I will pay for it in advance and will take all risks...
Rhampholeon Acuminatus - 50 euro each
Rhampholeon Spinosus - 50 euro each
Rhampholeon Brevicaudatus - 20 euro each
Rhampholeon Viridis - 50 euro each
Kinyongia Fischeri - 60 euro each
Kinyongia Tavetana - 50 euro each
Please contact me by PM or E-mail
Caught the babies sleeping really cute, couldn't resist to take some pictures.
8 have hatched so far, still some eggs remaining :)
The first ones are 3 weeks old, eating, drinking, pooping
I'm going to buy one aswell! I've seen them in petshops nearby but I thought it would be some commercial stuff that wouldn't work.
Hopefully we have enough moths in Europe :)
Just don't feed, they will start eating. An healthy chameleon won't starve itself to death.
Besides that, you should feed other pray aswell. Chameleons need a variety of food, so not only crickets and FF.
I've been following this thread for a couple of days, I can imagine how you felt trying to save her.
You did everything you could do, I'm very sorry for your loss.
It wasn't, she layed other clutches.
Unfortunately the other 2 eggs that were sweating didn't made it. I opened them up after a week and found 2 fully developed but dead babies inside... somehow they didnt manage to leave the egg.
The first one is still alive, eating and drinking but...
After a long wait including a diapauze the first Campanii egg hatched today. Unfortunately the animal is pretty weak, I hope he makes it.
Thanks to Jurgen (KameleonsJVO) :)
