I need to get a power strip before I can use mine. My veiled is so tiny still, very young. She seems tolerant of most things. She's taken to letting me hold her while feeding her, I'm hoping this is a good sign that her personality is open. So the fountain may work for her.

Which question? How well does it work or the grate? From what it seems like if the filter is on the bottom it may flip over. This is why I'm confused by the instructions and the set up.
