Exo Terra Waterfall and Fogger ?

Not good for a Cham enclosure.

hard to keep clean , etc. Bacteria is an issue and the fogger doesn't do to much.

You would be better off getting a Ultrasonic cool mist humidifier from Walmart and a drip system. A lot cheaper than the fogger and waterfall.

IVE had them both, they suck, spend too much time on maintenance and becomes a pain in the ass after a week.

for the price of both of those, you can get yourself a misting system.

Ok what mist system would you guys suggest ?
I have seen the Herpmist systems, they are kinda on the pricey side, and I would get one, but I have not see how they "fit" on to a screen terrarium. Do you have to cut into the screen ? I see the images of them on the page, but it does not show you one working with in a terrarium and how it fits on.

Also with someone with just one cham would the "HerpMist.com Reptile & Amphibian Hobbyist Misting System " work ?

http://www.herpmist.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=2

or does one need to go ahead and get the "Big Enchilada Reptile & Amphibian Misting System"

http://www.herpmist.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1

To be honest I do not really understand how they work or what the difference between them is. Any help here would be great ! Thank you.

waterfall

Yup I can pretty much agree that the water fall is really a waste of money...I can agree because...I bought one like a dummy...after about week it develops slime (proabably algae of some sort). it then leaked all over my floor. I have resorted to using it as a catch basin for my drip system and misting the cage every time I pass by.

My boyfriend loves that stupid waterfall, can't wait to put it into our new cage we got. No matter how hard i try to tell him that it sucks he wont listen, I like the idea of using for a basin for a dripper tho.

Also just wondering if the herp mist heats up the water at all? I know our chameleon does not like cold water.
(sorry not meaning to hijack)

i just bought the big enchilada from herpmist and called jason and asked every possible question i can think of. the hobbyist system is everything you need minus the resevoir, timer, and tube cutters. the big enchilada comes with everything including all of the above; just depends on if you have you own timers or resevoirs.screen adapters are only a few bucks more and they secure the nozzle to the corner of your cage, you only need a small slit to fit the nozzle through. its very simple in design. you mount the pump under the cage somewhere run a water line to the resevoir. run the line from the pump to the nozzles on the top of the cage, one is a "T" and runs to the other "L" nozzles. plug the pump into the timer, set the timer, fill resevoir with water, aim your nozzles, plug er in and let her rip. that about sums is up i think.lol

they dont sell heaters, but you can buy a small fish tank heater to heat the water(but you need to also put a small pump to circulate the water or else it goes stagnent and grows bacteria). or you can probably find a inline heater of some sort that would be more expensive but safer and cleaner. i am going with the first.
