Swyft likes a routine

My daughter told me Swyft was clamoring around his cage about the time I usually get home from work. I had to work later than usual and apparently he was ready for free time out of his cage. She didn't let him out though because she is worried she would not pay attention to him enough while she's on the computer or would leave and forget to put him away if her friends called. I can understand that and I'd prefer it that way anyhow.

I got home and he was in the front of his cage looking right at me. He didn't even move away when I unzippered the cage which I would expect him to since its noisy and was happening right in front of his face. He rejected my hand but for some reason is ok with the stick and my arm. I don't know what it is about my hand that scares him but he will always go to my arm just fine. I put him on his tree. He's been all over it already. He's quite the acrobat sometimes, I see the tree shaking and he'll be upside down hanging from one foot and his tail, goofball.
