Swyft was excited and well-aimed with his tongue on a dubia tonight. I offered a second one but he turned his head away.
He was doing the pacing thing again on the curtain rod so I relocated him to his tree again and misted it heavily, he drank readily. I think pacing means thirsty? Why doesn't he go back to the tree? I can't really mist the curtain rod because there's nothing on it to mist (no fake vines, it would drip everywhere) Guess I will have to figure something out. The curtain rod is slightly higher than the tree but only slightly. In fact the very, very top of the tree is higher but maybe the very, very top of the tree is too weak to support him just yet.
I'm thinking free-range doesn't have to mean distance, he seems to be getting too far from his tree and forgetting how to get back or maybe there's something about the path back that he doesn't like because once he's on the curtain rod he just paces across it and sometimes falls asleep on it. (that can't be as comfortable as his tree)
