Build Log : 1 : Introducing me

Hey anyone reading this! I'm excited, just earlier today I became a full fledged Member! I've been wanting to do this blog for a while now detailing the undoubted long process of building my custom chameleon enclosure.

But first a little background on me. My name is Brent Steiner. I'm a busy guy, which is why I was originally drawn to Chameleons. They don't need constant attention as long as you take care of the basics. Not to mention they are just plain cool. I've been told I have HD-ADD, I don't pay attention to much, but when I do the quality is Amazing! I work 2 and a half jobs. I'm a self employed Photographer (check out my website), working for a small local Magazine (406 Woman Magazine) as well as a lot of freelance photography, I do a bit of Graphic Design and I sell high end luxury watches part time (Bozeman Watch Company check em out). Needless to say I don't have a lot of free time.

I'm dating an amazing wonderful girl named Kelly. We have 3 dogs that technically belong to our landlord but I claim them, a cat and our Chameleon Dax. We have a cricket colony and a silkworm colony. And a lot of plants, some in Dax's current cage, some going into his new cage that's not done yet, and some that are just pretty.

We have a 18"x18"x24" cage for Dax right now, but that's not big enough for when he's older. I've been woodworking for 20 years now (and I'm only 25) with my Dad Jeff (Mr. Steiner super awesome shop teacher as his students know him). That's right my dad is a shop teacher. I have every tool I could possibly need, and a lot I don't know what they are, and an expert woodworker that I enjoy hanging out with. To top all that off, I'm getting all the supplies at super cheap educators price!

The task is simple and strait forward design the perfect enclosure for Dax, log all my progress with pictures to this blog and hopefully get some feedback along the way.
