After talking with Dr. Stein and explaining what was going on he thinks shed is stuck in the turret from the lack of humidity. She is housed outside with natural Ca. sunshine daily. Eats just fine(cracked out crickets and roaches, silks, a mantis now and then). Dr. Stein did not see it but took a guess by my description. He recommended warm showers but is seems to be the same. SHe has auto mister that are on a few tims daily for 5 minutes. ANyone see this before?

I have a friend with a older panther (7-8) and both his eys look like that. When I asked what he was from, friend stated as he got older his eyes started to do that??? Says it doesn't affect him at all.
To me it just doesn't look right and I'd probably have taken him in to the vet if he was my cham.
And for the record, friend has automatic mist system going off 3 times a day plus humidifier in the room as well.

Rob, I would be willing to bet you there is a white waxy buildup in her eye turret. If I were you, I would try to work the hard clump out of the front of the eye turret if she allows it. She still might need antibiotics because im am sure there is probably some bacterial buildup in there. I have had an animal with this before and worked this white waxy ball out of his eye turret, and used a topical antiobiotic on the eye. I would steer clean or terramycin, its too thick for this kind of issue imo. I cant find the bottle right now and the name escapes me but I believe is is Tobramycin(sp)?
