Why is my chameleon sleeping on the ceiling?

I just came home to find my little Leonardo fast asleep hanging upside down! Not sure why that is or if that's something to be concerned about, but I thought I'd just share the pic here.

Also I noticed that he gets darker from the flash, but thankfully he didn't wake up.

Jasper has never slept on the top but he has slept upside down on his vine.... Your guy was probably just roaming and the lights went out and he fell asleep...

never seen that before but atleast you know he is healthy enough to hold on while sleeping upside down. maybe he slept walk there and if he is awaken he will flip out cause he didnt fall asleep like that, kinda like in Step Brothers

That is fine... when chams are young they sleep in weird spots... be sure your lights go out at the same time so he can get a chance to learn a pattern and find a sleeping spot. when they are young this is kind of 'normal'. if he keeps it up you might want to look at your husbandry.

Thanks and I will keep an eye on where he is sleeping each night. I kind of believe this was a one time thing, but we'll see. He was totally fine this morning as far as I could tell.
