So I love chameleons, of course that's why I'm here. However I also love jungle carpet pythons ever since I saw a couple of them at a pet store a long while ago. I love the high-contrast yellow and black coloration. So I caved in yesterday and came home with this little beauty. He is 75% jungle and 25% diamond and about 2 months old. I saw his parent's pics and so I believe he's destined to be awesome! He still needs a name though, so I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any!

Oh wow, he is gorgeous! I was thinking of getting a snake (ball python) a couple of months ago but got a bearded dragon instead! I've never had a snake but would love one, just need to read up on them.

Hey, I went to the NE reptile show also and had a blast! Great looking carpet! :)

Hey, maybe I saw you there!! :)

They are so easy to take care of! I mean compared to a cham anyway. You should get one. I like the jungle carpets because they don't get too large and they can really look awesome.

How large do jungle carpets get? Yours is very cute, have you found a name for him yet? I will get a snake one day, i love how they feel and their markings can be so pretty.

They usually say jungle carpets get to be in the 6 or 7 foot range with males being slightly smaller than females. Jungles are not as thick-bodied as some of the other smaller pythons like bloods and ball pythons. Diamonds are slightly smaller than jungles too. Anyway they told me he'd be about 5.5 feet or so.

His name is Tango! My daughter came up with that name for him.
