TJ is off for a 6 hour drive to the vet

Well my little TJ has not pooped, or eaten for 3 days. He is also going down to sit on the rim of his plant, and is very dark colored. I really hate to do this. But I have located a qualified cham vet who is 6 hours away. I will drive down tonight and he will see the vet tomorrow, then he and I will drive back. I sure don't like taking my baby out for 12 hours in a car in the below freezing temps I have. But I just can't let anything happen to him that I can prevent. Everyone please cross fingers, pray, or send positive thoughts, whatever your thing is good.

I'm sure all will be well, just keep the heaters on. You might have to sweat but little TJ will be toasty :)

Bless you for taking such good care of your Chameleon!

I wish you both the best of luck!

Kilo, Fred & I have our fingers (and claws) crossed for you and TJ!!!!!

Thanks so much. I hate that drive, but I feel it is necessary. I will let you know how it goes when I get home tomorrow.

I am the worlds biggest sucker for my chams, but that is why I have them, so I do my best to see that their needs are met.

Laurie, that is true dedication to your chams!
I wish you and TJ a safe journey and hope that he is all better ASAP.

Oh Laurie! I have everything crossed here for you too! I hope that the vet can help TJ. Please drive safely with your precious cargo onboard!

Drive safely Laurie and good luck at the vet.

Your love and care for your little reptile friends is a great example for others in the hobby :D
