Have a question I have a powersun 100w zoo med bulb that is about a year old I just purchased a new light fixture from Todd that im really looking forward to but my question is even though the uvb is not being transmitted through bulb anymore can I just use it for basking light it puts out lots of heat.

Just make sure to check your basking spot and cage top temps. Chams can walk on the screen top and get next to the bulb, where you may not want them too. As long as it isn't above the recommended temps for your species. No higher than 90-95°f for a veil and 85-90°f for a panther. Even lower for a jacksons. I personally like no higher than 85°f for panthers and 85-87°f for veils.
