I currently have the Zoo Med ReptiBreeze Open Air Screen Cage with a Reptisun T5 HO Light.
A friend and I are desigining an enclosure...

My intention was for the left, right, back, and top to be Plexiglass to help keep humidity in and a mesh door. but my concern is if there will be enough heat transfer through the plexiglass top for her to bask and get proper heat.
She is approximately 7 months old and gets gumpy sometimes but otherwise healthy as far as I can tell :). Any advice on the enclosure or on her herself if welcome.

Welcome to the forum. So you only want to use aluminum screen on the top panel. Putting plexi glass there will block all UVB lighting. Aluminum screen accounts for a 40% reduction in UVB output so your distances to branches from your T5HO with the 5.0 or 6% bulb sitting on top would still need to be 8-9 inches for her to be in the right UVI level.

Per using plexiglass on the back and two sides that should be fine if your ambient humidity levels for your house are not high. Veileds do well with an ambient daytime humidity of about 40%. Then leave top and front door panel aluminum screen for proper air circulation.

Females still need room to move around. And you will need to accommodate a permanent lay bin in her enclosure. So you want your minimum build size for the usable cage area to be 4 ft tall, 2 ft deep and 2 ft wide.
