Hello Everyone,
I was thinking about purchasing this 24" Zoo Med Combination Hood for the new cage that I am building and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or opinions about it that they would like to share. I like that I'd be able to house the 24" fluorescent UVB bulb and the basking bulb in one unit to help clean up/stream line the appearance a little, though I'll probably paint the outside of it with some high temp black so it will match the rest of the set up and furniture in the room a little better. The hood will be used on a 24"W x 12"D x 24"T wood cage that will be housing a juvenile panther until it is big enough to move in to a bigger set up. Also, it will be resting about 3/4" above the screen.
