Are these OK for chameleons?

The blue day glow basking bulb that came with my Screameleons kit unexpectedly died today.

I bought this new bulb at my local reptile shop they didn't have the day glow. This light gives off orange light and almost seems too intense for a chameleon.

they can be used...but arnt recomended..they may hurt his eyes....just use a regular 60 watt house bulb...its 10 times cheaper...and last 10 tomes longer!

poop.. i'll save it for the bearded dragon.

I really liked the blue bulb, it gave off more than enough heat and didn't seem to overpower the color of the enclosure.
