I would add that if you see a lot of foamy flem in their throat take a Q-tip and remove it. It will come out by turning the Q-tip and withdrawing it. Don't put it in too deep, just enough to catch the foam. They can't get rid of it on their own, and any food they try to eat will get caught in it.
 
That's the weird part I've never seen foam the doctor didn't even see any.....and I open his mouth every day to put baytril in......he was popping when he was breathing but its almost came to a hault...... and u wouldn't notice him popping in his cage u have to hold him up to your ear to hear his nose pop
