Yep...any opportunity they get. Have to watch close so they don't get into trouble...like hot lights.

My chameleon used to do the same thing before we moved him to a new cage in a different room.

He would climb his cage door and reach out to a wall decoration and chill up there...

They live to explore their territory. Healthy to let him get out and do this just not when it is cleaning time. That way he will not always feel the need to "escape"

Ya I’ve been letting him out a lot more
Eventually I want to have some sort of small free range for him
But for now he loves to go for tours around my house.
He’s very friendly which is awesome
