Because of the new ban 3 python species can not be imported anymore: the Yellow Anaconda, African Rock Python, and the Burmese Python. The law stills allows them to be kept but now with no genetic variability these species are doomed to health problems and inbreeding. Now that they have banned these they can go after other large reptiles like monitors. Even if you have these snakes as pets and you move it is illegal to transport them across state lines. What do you guys think about the Lacey Act and has it affected you in any way?
