Lily is not in the least bit cranky either! She's always been easy to handle. She was brought up around people and handled on a regular basis! Sometimes it can be a pain when she just won't go back in again after!!I let Lily choose whether she wants out or not - if she does then that's fine, but if she just sits there looking all snooty down her nose at me, then I leave her alone! Sometimes she ignores any food I'm offering her and walks straight over the dish and up my arm!
Lily is now 16 months old, and has never tried to bite or gaped at me. What a sweetie!!
Thank you NewOwner!! Yoshi and Lily do sound very similar in personality! I only ever see Lily go dark when she's basking in the sun. When she's out she's always a very vibrant green! It's nice to have a cham that doesn't mind being handled - that's partly why I fell in love with her!Although there are plus points (eg taking her for Vets visits), I do wonder how I will ever get any medication in her mouth should she ever need it. I think most people with 'hissy' chams wait for them to gape, but Lily doesn't do that. I guess I'll deal with that if the need arises!
