Yoda's New Cage

I just set up a new cage for my son chameleon. Within a month he out grew his starter cage of 18w x 12d x 20h. Yoda now measures around 10 inches from tip of nose to tip of tail The last few days Yoda has been crawling all over the tree and branches as if the cage was to small. I got a screen cage that is now 24 x 24 x 36. Does anyone think he will have troubles catch cricket in this cage. I now have to wait until my Mistking comes in the mail. The chameleon is around 5 months old.
