Yoda finally had his first shed after being with us for 2 weeks! this isnt the best picture but the weather was horrible today so he didnt get his outside time): ill be posting more tomorrow but im so glad he finally shed hes brighter and the marker that was on him from the breeder is finally gone!!

Just make sure to keep his humidity high and maybe even stick him in the shower for a bit to help with his shedding !! :)

ofc we read up on that and know how to keep his humidity , it was his first shed ever so we knew it was going to take longer but he shed within hours

but thank you we heard about the shower idea but it doesnt seem like something he NEEDS, how does that even work how do u "shower" them

Placing your cham in the shower is not needed to assist a shed. If anything, the drier it is in the enclosure the faster the shed. It has been suggested that a chameleon with a stuck shed will benefit from a shower to loosen the stuck shed. To do this a plant is put in the shower so your cham has something to hold onto. The shower head is angled at the shower wall and the deflected water is what showers the cham. This is mostly done for dehydrated chams to help them hydrate. The water should NOT be hot, only room temp. Yoda is a handsome guy!
