Yipee Gizzy letting me feed her

Not quite eating out of my hand, but i offer her a plastic tub with crickets in and she has started to walk right up to it and help herself to however many she feels like.

On the handling front though she is now becoming very aggressive if we go near her - i expected this as she grew older, but it`s still a bit sad. She is nearing four months old now and we are quite proud to have made it here considering our early troubles - thanks guys

Congratulations! Once she gets used to that you could offer her a feeder on your hand and see if she'll take it. Lily hand feeds every morning and it always makes me smile! I never get tired of watching her eat!!

Thanks - i was so excited that she had done this. I thought it would take much longer. At one point she got so close i started to worry that she was going to climb in the tub, lol. It must be great to be able to hand feed Lily - hope i can do the same one day.

Just hang in there. You have came so far with that little one that I am sure she will learn to eat out of your hand. It is hard but you have to wait for her to be ready. Good luck

I am really Gizzy seems to be over the hump. Their personalities change a lot in the first year so she may still come around. Out of my 3 female veileds one is hissy and the other two are angels!

Thanks guys I don`t think she would have got over it without the help and advice i received from everyone on here. Fingers crossed she seems happy and settled at last - hopefully it will stay that way. Today was a big reward for me and certainly worth the wait.
