Hi my female yemen approximate 1year old
Has just started eating less, she is not friendly and keeps coming up to the glass, on the floor
Which she never used to!
Is this because she wants to come out?
Her reflection bothering her?
Trying to lay eggs?

Any ideas!

I would put her in a screen cage and see if. Anything changes. You should also read the link in the post above! And provide us with more info:)

What you mean by screen? She has wooden vivarium with glass front? Will fill out questions
Thanks

Does she have a place in her cage to dig in case she is trying to lay eggs?
No, I need to get some for her to lay eggs i'n
I can't see any lumps and bumps on her belly, bit obvious when there are eggs? She bites so can get her out and feel for them

I would get a suitable place in the cage right away (like today) for her to dig in....I recommend an opaque container at least 12" deep x 12" x 8" filled with moist washed playsand.

Worries mights be eggs? Reflection? Viv too small?
Any help appreciated

Hi!

What plants do you have in there now?

I agree that your first course of action is to put in a bin for her. I do think your enclosure is a little short. Most would say 3 feet at a minimum, preferably 4 feet tall. The other dimensions are okay, so maybe you can figure out a way to add on to the top.

Just added bin with play sand, she walked. Over to eat to get to the glass . It's like she just wants to get out, but why is she not eating?
She hasn't touched her food In two days?
Do they lay eggs i'n the dark?

She was waiting at glass trying to get out
I left my hand there and she climbed out after waiting a long while! This chameleon hates people and has never come out before willingly! But she did she climbed out climbed around my arm... Quoted relaxed.. Then got spooked and went crazy So I put het back.
Would she stop eating because the viv is too small?
How long with out food and calcium can they go before problem kick i'n?

She will want privacy if she does have to lay eggs. Yet, she wants her regular light schedule. If necessary, cover the sides with cloth to block her view of the room (and you!).

Thats what I mean, will they lay at night time
She does not seem interested i'n dogging
She has still not ate!! Going to get bigger viv this weekend.
