ANd honestly, the fed ex guy is probably right about that box having been flipped alot.
they get bumped, people dont care, box falls over on the truck etc etc.
Not saying its right, and he shouldnt have added to it, but it is life.

i understand that but to add insult to injury as i watched him flipping hte box that was not bad enough he had to laugh and throw that last jab in there. iam already calmed down and loving my lil new family memeber

awh! babies r so cute! sorry about ur bad experince with fedex. some people are just flat out rude.

:rolleyes:Well the fed ex guys is right about it getting flipped alot sorry to hear how he handled your new baby. I now work for ups and let me tell you when they go to the warehouse they get put on machines and get sepperated and tossed all over no matter what you tell them nland how to handle and most of those guys if they see fragile or perrishable they are rough with the package:mad: it sucks but your baby got ther safe so thats a plus

I agree that the box probably was flipped a lot in travel, but that still doesn't make it ok for the delivery guy to flip it more than it had to be. And the fact that he laughed at you for being mad is the worst part. If I were you, I would definitely report that to Fedex. Regardless of how the package was handled during transit, that man was the face of Fedex you saw, customer service is his responsibility, and whoever his boss is ought to be pissed that he laughed at you and treated you like that because it represents the company poorly. You should complain... If you give them your address they will be able to look up exactly who delivered the package so they can do something about it.

Glad your little guy is doing well though. :)

You would think that someone would stop immediately after he was told it was a live animal (assuming he was just lazy and didn't read the box)... Not only is it unprofessional, it's just plain sick.
Ughhggh...
Anyway!! Cute little guy!! Congrats on the new family member :)

Ask to speak to a Customer Service Rep... (give them the tracking # of your package) and explain to them the situation.

With his personality, chances are he has other complaints against him. And who knows , maybe yours will be the one that sets him straight.

Make sure to mention that " because of this experience i will seriously consider NEVER using FedEx again for your shipping needs".

By the way nice to see your lil guy was ok after all was said and done.

This is why you pack the chameleon appropriately and also another reason I like using cloth or paper bags. If the animal bounces off it, it wont be as hard as hitting a plastic container.

The chameleon doesnt look too small for how old it was said to be.

yeah those pics are deciving he is tiny tiny those are really zoomed in ill take one ini perspetive i dont mind his size to be honest the smaller he is the more i get ot watch him grow i just planned for a cham a lil bigger and i understand why they pack them like that it just really urked me to see the delivery guy treating it like a basketball as he walks across my parking lot

Your little guy is really sweet! I would definitely report the guy to Fed Ex. Maybe it will save the next animal from being tossed around unnecessarily. Regardless, you should not have been treated that way for a service YOU are paying for.

well gave the lil guy a new cage yesterday i had a reptibreeze sitting around for about a year in the box still the 2by 2 by 4 boy are those thing a peice of shit iam gonna get him a nicer cage soon but any ways he is loving his new jungle here are afew pics of the new set up and him

Wow he is looking nice!!!! Always so nice to see a happy healthy Chameleon.

I just saw the beginning of this thread. Although I'm sure the packages do get flipped around... If the driver would have done that to me and then laughed about it like he did....(I am normally an accepting calm person)... I doubt he would have even made it back out of my driveway!!! I can guarantee you law enforcement would have had to separate us, he would have been lying on the pavement... or running for the hills! Just sayin...

took a few pics of him just now he is right around 8months old and as soon as he seen the camera he got all pissy lol
