I intend to utilize ficus and/or pothos in my panther chameleon enclosure. I actually have a nice big pothos on hand already, and intend to buy another. I've also found a few places selling chameleon-safe ficus, which I'll get when the weather is a bit more shipping-friendly.
I plan on buying my cham either in late spring or early fall. This gives me a lot of time to prep my plants to make them cham-safe. If I re-pot the pothos in organic soil, will they be clean by late May without washing or should I still clean them? I've ready that the insecticides only remain active for so long.
Thanks for any insight and cheers.
