Wrong uvb?!

So I think I bought the wrong uvb things... I bought just an arcadia 6% 24w 22" T5 bulb. Just the bulb. Not the electrical stuff. Then came the pro t5 uvb kit with a much smaller uvb t5 fixture (8w 7% 12") with all the electrical stuff (hood ect.). It looks pretty small but if it's ok then I'll just return the larger bulb. So can I keep the smaller one or do I have to find a hood for the larger one?

I also can't find a hood for the larger fixture on amazon if you have any suggestions for where to buy the larger hood if i need it I would be happy to hear (uk)

Ok you need a 24 inch fixture for the 22T5 inch bulb

Does it matter that the bulb is arcadia and the hood is reptisun?

The 12 inch is too small. You want the 24 inch. Do they sell vivarium electronics in the UK? I just got their fixture and really love it. This is the one I got. https://www.pangeareptile.com/store/t5-uvb-light-fixture.html

Not at all.just make sure both are t5

K thanks so much I'll buy the 24 inch hood right now and it dosent matter that the hood is reptisun and the bulb is arcadia?

You can use any fixture with any bulb as long as the fixture type is a T5HO and the bulb type is a T5HO. The bulbs for these are always 2 inches shorter then the fixture length.

ok new problem the right hood only has the right size on .com. For .co.uk it only has 30" and 36" and 48" inches. not 24"
