I was thinking of maybe using it for an outdoor enclosure to let them get some of this natural hot texas sun...
It would be to big to put in my house unless I could keep all 3 in it.

I probably wouldn't use that cage until the chameleons are at least 8mo.

Most definitely. I could not use it for quite some time but I have to buy it now. They are way to tiny and its getting cooler here now. I figured for Texas mornings it would be great to get some sun. I use to have panthers and a couple veileds and they loved it outside and did great. Its to hot past noon but from 7am till noon they can enjoy it.

I think its good, but easily made. I put my chameleon in his 2'x2'x4' cage when he was 5 months, and I did not cup feed, and he found his food fine. I think it would be nice for an outside cage, but PVC is cheep, and you can get plastic garden fencing for cheep too, so you can build one yourself for the same price or cheaper.

Thanks for the tip. I might build two then and make them a bit smaller like 7x2x2 for outside or split one like that in half.

For me, A tiny bit of PVC costed $70. But, Thats Canadian. I'd buy the cage. Just buy some huge Ficus plants, and I thnk your set!

I'd suggest hanging larger plastic storage boxes next to climbing routes or favorite perches and let the feeders roam around with some gutload. This would house nice larger Ficus trees or Schefflera plants. Depending on the height of the plants you use the bottom covering may not matter all that much...the chams would rarely if ever get down on the substrate or you could cover the existing surface with something easy to clean or replace. Yes, the larger plant pots will be heavy so you may need to reinforce the frame or make a stronger base. Still, it might be a fairly easy thing to modify. Calculate what it would cost you to make it yourself including your time, and compare.

I meant PVC tubing. Its like 5$ for a 4 foot long tube that is 1/2'' holed.
