Worried ):

My veiled chameleon laid eggs back in January
Now she's not eating, and she keeps climbing to the bottom of her cage and digging through the bark that's on the bottom.
She hasn't eaten in almost 4 days now ): Does anyone know what's wrong?
My mom thinks she might be digging to find her eggs, or she's pregnant again.
I didn't think they could lay eggs again so soon.
PLEASE HELP!

(Her colors are all normal she's never dark she always has her bright colors)

yes, she was mated.
It really all depends on her mood sometimes she'll eat up to 10 large crickets or she's in a worm mood so she'll eat a lot of those but she hasn't been eating anything lately :/

i got this right out of the veiled chameleon caresheet, just to ellaboriate on what Carol said https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/
if she does not have a lay bin in her enclosure, get one in there asap as it sounds like shes looking for a place to lay another clutch from that mating! its recommended to have one in there 24/7 after they reach 4-6 months old which she certainly has :)
also, the decrease in appetite is a typical sign of carrying eggs.

Egg Laying & Breeding
Females can lay 1-3 clutches per year on average, during any season. A single breeding may produce several clutches from the same pairing due to sperm retention by the female. Egg laying is a big strain on the female's body and heavy breeding can shorten life span. Extra calcium should be given to gravid females to keep up with the need of making eggshells.

I would say she is gravid again. Some cham can really put out the eggs. One of my panthers laid a clutch Jan 26 and just 2 days ago laid another. I find all my girls go off food for 4-10days right before laying.
