Appreciate the speedy reply, i was just worried because my first chameleon i raised was a veiled and i know that if they're anything but a shade of green its usually a bad sign

Not to sound aggressive or anything, but it is highly doubtful as i observed him opening his mouth a couple of times while basking which implied he was too hot, and have since adjusted his lamps. But at the same time maybe the adjustment was too much and he could quite possibly be cold. Thank you for taking your time to give me a suggestion, your kindness is much appreciated

He looks fine to me as well. They turn dark for many reasons, only one of which is being cold. That pic does not look like he is dark btw. Just his chillin colors.

Once again thank you repto for the info. Appreciate this communities attitude towards new members and helping them out as such. Guess i was just stressing because as i said before about owning a veiled cham and being terrified of dark colors.

Hi there hope you are enjoying this forum. I picked up two nosy bes on Friday. They were black and very cold. Their colour now is very similar to yours. Yhey have become used to their surroundings and are kept at around 80. How old is yours?

I think around 2 and a half , i can't be completely sure. And glad to hear about the pick up! hope you post some pics!

I have posted new pics of my panther Popeye on the photo section today if you want to check him out. He is my pride and joy. The two nosy bes are from my local pet shop. They are very small and shop asked me to take them till they are big enough to sell. Shop closed several day over festive period and could only manage to mist once a day, so they are only temporary.:)
