well for the last week he has gone 1 day without eating anything and 6 other days hes only eating either 2 locust or 2 crickets a day.today hes only eaten 1 locust.i have put a feeding cup in there.he will just look at them.we have had to move his home a few times this week due to maintance being done in my house so im not sure if thats why hes like it.hes not shed yet so im also not sure if its that either?? im worried so hope you can help me.he wont eat out of the feeding pot and will only eat from my hand or tongs.

I wouldn't worry too much just yet. He is still in a settling in period and then you are moving him around on top of it. They get strange about things sometimes when you change their cage, surroundings, etc. He is drinking, so that is good and honestly some don't have as great of appetites as others. Personally I would up the basking temp to about 90 plus (use a higher wattage bulb) and see if that does not get him to eat more. Some chameleons don't like eating from cups. Have you tried just letting the bugs go loose and letting him hunt them down?

hes so small and in a big viv i just dont think he will catch them if i let them lose.i have put some on a branch next to him and walked away and nothing but the 2 that he does eat he goes straight for them as soon as i show him them.

Could you post a picture of your enclosure? If he is eating something, it's not so bad, so he might be still adjusting. I'm thinking the arcadia light might be too strong, but I've never used it, so that's just a guess...

the acradia is fine.as its a 12% it must be on the outside and he must have places to get away from it.the mesh will block alot of the uv so it will be fine.i have that also and many people who keep chams have them with no problems.hes still settling as as carol stated if he has been moved around then this as prob just prolonged it.he is still eating and drinking so give him more time.keep doing what your doing as your routine and setup seem fine to me from what you stated.:D
