So after a week of picking hornworm eggs off of the tomato plant we got lazy and didnt pick them for a couple days........Well now there are worms all over the house! LOL My boyfriend is trying to do damage control and found them all over the plant, the cage, the walls of the room, just outside the room, on his hand and even on the dog! Haha. I guess being lazy has its drawbacks.

 How are they getting scattered about? Hatch 'em out and you know who will take some off of your hands!! ;)

Must be nice to have too MANY eggs, will you be selling any of these by chance? Looking to start breeding my own, (using your how-to blog) :)

These moths are about done. We might have more tomorrow, but probably not for much longer. I have more pupating but they just went in the dirt so will be about 3 weeks or so unfortunately.

Ha! You know how tiny they are! They walk right out of the screen cage! Just got tired if picking them. I have some worms growing for you though. I will keep them small for your guys next week.

Haha! I'll have to give them some really nice treats after passing them off to the wifey this week! Poor guys... :( I'm sure they'll appreciate the juicy worms and forgive me! :p

Arn't hornworms poisonous if the eat tomato plants?

Well that is still under debate. I know of people that have fed them tomato leaves and their Chams are fine. However, due to the debate I don't feed my worms tomato leaves. The eggs are laid on the plant and pulled of the plant prior to hatching.

Well add me to the list when you have some available. I'd rather help support someone on these forums if I'm gonna be investing in the supplies and worms themselves.

My guy is going on a hunger strike, got dubias coming but he loves his worms. 3 weeks is fine for me, gotta get the dubias going first. Give me a PM when you have some available!

I feed my guys hornworms daily as long as I have them. They usually get dubias, hornworms, silk worms and either Phoenix worms or mantids.
