Hey everyone
My year and 2 months old male veiled wont eat dubia roaches . last time he had one was about 3 months ago . i just got my dubias 3 days ago and i tried every size, but nothing . But he will eat any type of worms . Have anyone had this before how can i make him eat dubias . cuz as far as i know chameleons love dubias ....

Thanks for the help in advance .

I have had the same problem, none of my chameleons will eat dubias. I think I have spoiled them with all the other things I have offered prior to dubias, but not a single one will take them. I have changed the dubias' diet, caging, etc in case that was the problem, but not one of my chams listed in my signature will touch them. Also, I accidentally got my Fischers addicted to BB flies... oops :). So any suggestions would be great, especially since the cricket supply is dwindling and dubias are the main food source for many of us.

Does anyone know why they are sold out? They have been for quite a while, the only option is to buy the eggs, but I am hesitant to do so. Have you tried it? I guess you have to keep them warm or they won't hatch

you can get silkworms at coastal silkworms.com I just ordered some today. They are in Jacksonville Fla, I live in Fla so it works good for me. I am having a similar problem with my 8 mo old panther who wont eat crickets! i feed him supers and am trying silworkworms now as the forum has suggested

I have two panthers that want touch them. You can try turning them over on their back and see if the moving around might get him interested.

You can try feeding the white-just molted roach. The adult males with wings can get them interested and an adult male that just molted-even better.

my adult male panther was addicted to supers and one day I tried a big male dubia, the one with wings and he ate it to my suprise.

i did try that too but nothing , i guess the only option i have is to not feed him for at list 3 days , beside the part that he wont eat dubias , he wont even look at crickets . He go way to spoiled with the worms

Have you tried letting a medium sized nymph walk on the screen top? My Panther is almost 2 years old and always will take a super and will go through periods of disinterest in crickets and dubias. I have found that when I put a medium roach on the screen top and let it run across, he will take interest. Once he eats one, I can put 3 or 4 more up there and he will eat them.
