Wine Cabinet Modified for screen cage !!

Milly is currently in her Exo Terra Cage that is 18x18x24. We placed her cage on the shelf of a wine cabinet we have in the house. My husand said he wants to alter the cabinet using screens, drainage system, custom screen doors made at his brothers wood workshop and using a sealant that is safe for chameleons. Once it is sealed, we will let it cure for a week or two to make sure the fumes etc are gone. We will wash it very well then dry.

What I am worried about is the size of the custom enclosure. Milly is a female Veiled Chameleon. We measured it and this is the size.

30x(wide) 36x(high)18x(deep)

Is this big enough for a full grown adult female veiled chameleon?

I'm having the same idea myself mystic.I was going to modify a chest of drawers/wardrobe for the job to include drainage and storage underneath.I have a male veiled and was thinkin 4 foot high and 2 foot wide and deep excluding the storage is say the 3 foot would be grand .I'm just wondering at 5 months is it too big an enclosure for him or does that matter

For a female it should be perfect! For a male I would say too small, but this sounds great for Milly! Can't wait to see!

This, again, sounds perfect! I have my boy in a full sized enclosure, and he has been in there since about three months of age. He adjusted very well and did not need for me to put in a temporary false floor to reduce the size. Any younger than 3 months and I would definitely think of waiting on the big boy cage. And, again, can't wait to see!!!
