My egg has started windowing (showing some transparency) and is almost 7 months along. I can't find any info anywhere in what windowing means for how much time is left in the eggs developmental journey.
Why is it in the dark sometimes not all the time?
Panther eggs have “that” crazed look to the shell…but it’s not quite the same IMHO, as the windows in other eggs such as veileds.

Also, eggs are laid in a hole in the ground and buried by the female. They dig out when they hatch…so…they are in complete darkness the whole time they are incubating. It only makes sense to me that there should be no light during incubation. No???
