wind question

I don't see how...they live out in the wild with the wind!! My chameleons are out everyday with the wind and I don't see the wind harming them in anyway.

Only time the wind would harm them is if their tree fell over  This has happen to me during storms sometimes so I have to put bricks in the pots now. Luckily they have never been on the tree that fell.

They do not have sweat glands so a chill factor isn't an issue. I would assume after a mist I would be.weary of a cool wind it may cool them very quickly other than that just it blowing them off a branch or as.stated dropping the tree.

What about a scared cham that's never been out of the still cage and the trees leaves she is in are moving about? Couldn't it startle them?

If there's nothing large and terrifying such as... You! Shaking it about u presume he will adapt to it being natural very quickly. Mine shakes about when I move stuff around or even open and close the door, never seems to bother him

True lol my big scary hand entering the cage. It was just something I thought about when I had Camille out yesterday. But yes I'm sure the wind just helps them look more like a leaf:)

can they catch a cold if the wind is to chilly ?or respiratory infection?
thanks for the answers

when i open to many windows im afraid that he could get resp infection or get a cold or eye problems !

not too my knowledge. Respiratory Infections are caused more from dampness, like having a cage that is not well ventilated and getting wet and breeding mold and bacteria and then they breathe in that air.
